Description

The kaki belongs to the Diospyros genus, known as the “fruit of divine fire”. With its characteristic sweet flavor, this fruit, generally oval and voluminous, varies in shape and size. Originally from Asia, it has found the perfect climatic conditions in Valencia.

When the fruit reaches its optimum ripeness, its pulp becomes soft and juicy, ideal to be consumed fresh or as an ingredient in processed products such as juices, liqueurs, ice creams and cooked dishes. Its texture and flavor make it a versatile and delicious option, capable of enhancing all kinds of culinary preparations.

Packaging

Our packaging, in corrugated cardboard, is sustainable, , biodegradable and 100% recyclable.

Respect for the environment is ingrained in our business culture, and consequently we implement an environment policy.

We use packaging made from cardboard that has the advantage of being the only packaging that is 100% biodegradable in relatively short periods of time.

Moreover, the manufacturers who supply our corrugated cardboard produce half the CO2 that is produced during production of other types of packaging.

85% of the paper used in our packaging is recycled, and 15% is virgin fibre.

Furthermore, our packaging meets the Food Safety System standards, respecting the requirements in regard to materials and objects that come into contact with food products.
